How did Computershare select the features for the first launch?
We’ve included the most popular features from the Investor Center platform in the first release of the mobile app.
Why is [company] not available on the mobile app?
The company may not be a Computershare transfer agent client or isn’t set up for Investor Center yet.
Why can’t I buy shares using the mobile app?
We’re working on adding more features to the mobile app, including the option to buy shares through a direct stock purchase plan (as available).
In the meantime, you can log into your Investor Center account online if you’d like to make a purchase.
Does the app have a biometric sign-in?

Why can’t I manage my shareholding in [client] company?
- For US companies: We can only manage investments for issuers who are Computershare clients.
- For non-US companies: We’re planning to make the app available to shareholders of Computershare clients with stock listed in other countries.
Why can’t I sell [company] shares? I own the shares.
You can only sell shares if the company you’re invested in supports market order sales.
What are market order sales?
A market order is a request to sell shares promptly at the current market price.
When are you going to add additional functionality?
This is just the start for the Investor Center App. We can’t give a timeline for future enhancements but, if you have feedback, please email ic_app@computershare.com. We’re listening and really value your thoughts.
I lost my phone with the mobile app enabled. Is my account safe?
We are sorry to hear that. We take the privacy and security of shareholder information seriously. We have robust systems and processes in place to safeguard your information. Please contact us via https://www.computershare.com/us/investor-inquiries, and we’ll help you.
Is the app secure?
We’ve built the app on a modern, secure platform. Robust security features, including two-factor authentication, provide protection and should give our clients and their investors peace of mind.
You already have something called Investor Center Mobile! How is this different?
We optimized our web-based Investor Center platform for use on mobile devices several years ago. This helped ensure the site loaded quickly and displayed well when users accessed it through a browser (such as Chrome or Safari) on a cell phone or tablet. We referred to this as Investor Center Mobile.
The Investor Center App is very different. We’ve built it specifically for mobile platforms, and it provides a richer, faster and more integrated experience with device hardware.
You’ve said not all shares are available to sell. Which ones are and aren’t?
You can only sell shares if the company you’re invested in supports market order sales, which let you sell at the best available price upon execution. You can also only use the app for shareholdings in Computershare US-managed clients.
Can I use the app to manage shareholdings in companies that are dual listed in the US and another country?
Yes, but currently you will only be able to see US market pricing.
I have shares in a US-listed company. Why can’t I manage my shareholding through the app?
Computershare is a global company and, in some circumstances, companies that are listed in the US are managed by our operation in other countries. The app is currently available for managing holdings in companies managed by Computershare US specifically. We’re planning to make the app available to shareholders with stock managed in other countries soon.
