Australia Post have notified us of a security breach at the Melbourne GPO Box Room potentially impacting a large number of GPO box owners, including Computershare’s boxes numbered 2106, 2333, 2980, 3561, 4656, 4709, 4768, and 5026. Due to this breach, it’s possible that letters containing shareholders’ personal or financial information were stolen.
If you have sent mail to one of these boxes from 29 June to 17 July 2025, please call us on +61 3 9415 4000 (outside Australia) or 1300 850 505 (within Australia). Standard hours of operation for our call centre are 8.30am-7pm AEST.
We will help confirm whether we received your correspondence and support with next steps where we can.
If no information was posted to us during the above period, or if you used a different PO Box number, including our main PO Box which is located elsewhere, there’s no need to take any action with regards to this issue.

We understand Australia Post have reported the incident to Victoria Police who are investigating the incident.
What is Australia Post doing to help prevent this happening again?
Australia Post has advised that they have implemented a number of additional security measures following these incidents, including after hours security presence in the PO Box Room.
How many shareholders have been affected?
Only shareholders who sent post to some of our Melbourne GPO boxes (numbers provided above) between specific dates may be potentially impacted.

Please note that you don’t need to take any action if you did not post information to us via the specific numbered PO Boxes during the specified timeframe.

Once Australia Post notified us of the issue, we sent communications to our clients and shareholders as soon as possible.
