On 18 August 2016, Euroclear issued a consultation on dividends with options which closes on 7 October 2016.
If you pay dividends that offer elections for shareholders, this consultation is relevant to you. The proposals recommend a process change for managing CREST holder elections for scrip dividends and currency alternatives, and may also impact your dividend timetable.
