James Hood

Joining us in 2000, James is responsible for Finance and other Shared Services for all our business lines across the United Kingdom, Channel Islands, Irish and African regions, as well as Continental Europe. In addition James is responsible for the oversight of all Client Assets regulated by the FCA.

James has held a number of regional and global roles at Computershare, including two years based in Melbourne.

Prior to joining Computershare James worked at UBS, Johnson Wax, and Exxon Mobil, in various finance roles.

Jay Foley

Jay is the Managing Director of Computershare’s Employee Share Plans business for the EMEA region and is based in our London office. Jay has been with Computershare since 2013, following the acquisition of the Morgan Stanley Employee Share Plans business where he was the Managing Director for EMEA. Prior to that Jay was leading the Citigroup Employee Share Plans business from London between 2004 - 2009. Jay has been in Europe since 2003, when he moved from New York to set up and lead the employee share plans business operations in Barcelona, Spain and London. Jay is an active member of the employee share plans industry, including a past role as GEO Board Member for eight years.

Andrew Jones

Andrew joined Computershare in 2014 as part of the acquisition of Homeloan Management Limited (HML), which has now rebranded as part of the Computershare family. Before taking over as CEO of HML in October 2011, Andrew was Chief Operations Officer responsible for all aspects of operations and IT. Andrew has extensive experience of delivering large-scale business change across mortgage servicing and wider financial services.

During Andrew’s tenure, he has overseen the appointment by the UK government of Computershare Loan Services to service the mortgages of UK Asset Resolution, as well as the decision of several new entrants to choose us as their mortgage servicing partner.

Following the completion of an MBA, Andrew joined Accenture, initially leading a number of IT-enabled change programmes in the automotive industry before moving into financial services (insurance and banking) in the late 90s. Before joining HML in 2006, Andrew spent six years rebuilding National Australia Bank’s UK Insurance business, driving a threefold increase in income and a significant reduction in cost.

Cas Sydorowitz

Cas is responsible for Georgeson’s Northern European Proxy and Corporate Advisory business and has been with Georgeson for over 15 years.

Cas has an expert knowledge of proxy voting mechanics and key governance matters affecting issuers and shareholders globally. Having worked for several activists, and against many more, he has in-depth experience to support investors or issuers in complex, sensitive activist campaigns.

Cas remains an ongoing advisor to the UK Department of Business, Innovations and Skills as well as the UK Takeover Panel and the London Stock Exchange on various corporate actions and proxy-related matters.

Kirsten van Rooijen

Kirsten joined the Computershare business in 2007 as an Account Manager at Georgeson in London. After moving to the Netherlands she led Georgeson’s Benelux team on a number of high-profile transactions, activist situations and shareholder meetings for renowned companies including ASM International, ING Group and Shell. She has had key involvement in a number of acquisitions, including Johnson & Johnson’s acquisition of Crucell or ING’s Rights Issue.

In 2009, Kirsten has additionally taken on the role of Managing Director Netherlands at Computershare extending the local footprint and being involved in numerous shareholder meetings, employee share plan roll-outs and class action litigations.

Today, Kirsten has the responsibility for Shareholder Meetings globally withing the Computershare business and holds the position of Head of Continental Europe covering seven country organisations.

Andreas Müller

Andreas Müller is the Managing Director of Computershare Schweiz AG. He was previously Head of Share Register at Computershare Switzerland AG (former SIS SAG AG) and as such responsible for all operational processes around share register management and Corporate Actions.

Before that, he worked in Income at SIX SIS AG for six years and was responsible for the Swiss and German market as well as the area of Eurobonds. Andreas Müller has a broad knowledge in the Swiss and international custody business and is an expert in regulatory provisions for registered shares and IPOs.

Heidi Wilson

Heidi is responsible for our offshore business comprising employee equity plans, share registration, offshore trustee and company secretarial services.

With over 600 clients around the world, we offer expert advice for companies operating in offshore jurisdictions including Jersey, Guernsey, Isle of Man, Cayman Islands, Bermuda and the British Virgin Islands.

Heidi has more than 20 years' experience in offshore financial services. Graduating in Law from Kings College London, Heidi spent 13 years with Mourant Equity Compensation Solutions before joining us in 2006.

Mark Cleland

With 20 years’ experience in the industry, Mark joined Computershare in 2019. Mark is responsible for our Issuer Services business in the UK, South Africa and Ireland, comprising share registration, governance services and a range of Issuer Services offerings. Prior to joining Computershare, Mark held senior positions at PwC and EY, as well as board director at Capita Asset Services.

Werner Merki

Werner Merki is a member of the Board of Directors of Computershare Schweiz AG. Previously, he held various managerial positions at SIX Securities Services AG. Among others as Head of Security Services and Head of Operations.

From 2014 to the end of 2016 Werner Merki was CEO of SIX SAG AG and responsible for the share register and general meeting business of SIX Group. As a member of several national and international committees, Werner Merki is also valued for his competence and experience in his business areas.
