Your shareholder strategy
The first thing we'll do with you is sit down to understand how you want us to manage your share register – your shareholder strategy.
Your objectives may focus on improving the efficiency of their share register or improving shareholder engagement. You may be looking to turn shareholders into customers. Once we've got to grips with your objectives, we'll propose a plan of activity to help you get there.
For example, we can run campaigns to promote electronic communications and payments which are cheaper for you and more convenient for your shareholders. Or you could run a dealing promotion to make it easier for small shareholders to sell cost effectively.
Delivering a successful shareholder strategy is all about understanding you, your objectives and your shareholders.
Service excellence as standard
Our client managers will be on hand to help every step of the way, and we’re proud of the service they give our clients. In 2020’s Capital Analytics benchmarking survey of UK registrars, we received an overall satisfaction score of 94%.
Managing your dividend payments
You want to know that your shareholders will receive their dividend funds on time.
In the UK we manage payment distributions for more than 2,700 securities every year. These range from straightforward cash dividends to multi-region distributions in local currencies. Dividend reinvestment is easy too – you can run programmes to allow your shareholders to reinvest dividends to build their holding.
Who really owns your shares?
Some of your shareholders may have invested using a broker or custodian bank. This means the shareholders' names won't appear on your share register. It's important that you know who they are and the influence they can have over your other investors. We provide an Ownership Analysis service through Georgeson (a Computershare company) to help you with this.
