Computershare Canada tabulates over 252,000 proxies annually.
With Computershare managing the entire process from end-to-end, we’ll take you right up to and through the meeting in an efficient, informed manner.
During the time between your mailing date and your proxy cut-off time, we will be working at high-speed tabulating all of the registered, beneficial, and Broadridge fed votes that are coming in, so you can monitor the status of the proxy vote results.
Finally, at the meeting, we'll be there to support you with the registration, final vote tabulation and scrutineering requirements so your focus can stay on other matters that day.
Our tabulation guidelines are based on Proxy Protocol, the industry standard created by the members of the Security Transfer Association of Canada (STAC).
With an automated tabulation process and strong relationships with key industry partners, Computershare is able to combine the voting results from all sources to provide you with a consolidated overview of how your vote is progressing.
As you get closer to the meeting and are looking for the latest results, it is important that you have an understanding of the timelines required for us to receive and process third-party data feeds.
Understanding how your votes come in
Computershare automatically incorporates electronic voting results, registered and beneficial holder votes from Broadridge, third-party brokers, your proxy solicitor and your outside plan administrator to provide one composite report from all sources.
