Every May, across the globe, we celebrate Computershare Day (CPU Day) together
Our business was founded in 1978, then our rapid growth led to our listing on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) in 1994 and the creation of the public company we work for today. Back in 2017 we launched CPU Day to mark this anniversary and to recognise what it means to be part of Computershare, to ‘Be Purple’ and to celebrate the things that make us stand out as a company. It’s become an important annual event that we celebrate together as a global team.
Our celebrations are held at offices around the world and global activities this year included a CPU Day quiz, the great Computershare cake-off, purple dress-up and a CPU Haiku competition. Individual offices also organised their own events, we enjoyed Happy Hour in Hong Kong, a BBQ and Badminton event in Toronto, Canada, and ‘behind the scenes’ office tours for employees at our listed building based in Bristol, UK.
