The Bank of Canada has announced that effective March 1, 2017 they will be making some changes to the publication of Foreign Exchange rates. The full update can be accessed here.
The change that may impact issuers most is the elimination of the publication of the noon exchange rate. Instead, the Bank of Canada will now be publishing a single rate at 16:30 ET, each day.
For issuers that pay distributions in multiple currencies, we recommend that you review the information you provide to your investors, and contact your Relationship Manager directly with any questions you may have.
