HEAD OF ISSUER SERVICES
Mark Cleland

With 20 years’ experience in the industry, Mark joined Computershare in 2019. Mark is responsible for our Issuer Services business in the UK, South Africa and Ireland, comprising share registration, governance services and a range of Issuer Services offerings. Prior to joining Computershare, Mark held senior positions at PwC and EY, as well as board director at Capita Asset Services.

CLIENT RELATIONSHIP AND INDUSTRY DIRECTOR
Michael Sansom

Michael has worked for us for more than 15 years, mainly in our client services team. He has also spent some time in operations, dividends, corporate actions and dealing. Michael is a qualified Chartered Secretary and leads the efforts of the UK business to monitor and influence local market and EU legislative developments.

Sophie de Freitas FCIS

Sophie is a Fellow of ICSA with over 25 years’ experience in financial services, Sophie has extensive experience in dealing with IPOs and helping non-UK companies list in the UK.

Nick Thatcher

Nick has over 28 years’ experience in share registration. He has undertaken many roles within our business and was previously a Senior Relationship Manager for a number of our high profile clients.

HEAD OF PRODUCT
John Christian

John leads the team responsible for new product development and innovation. He has been with Computershare for 5 years. Before this he worked at Equiniti for 10 years where he was the Head of Strategy and Corporate Development. Earlier in his career John worked in the Life and Pensions Industry and Treasury management. John is a qualified Chartered Management Accountant.

CLIENT RELATIONSHIP DIRECTOR
Mark Bunyan

Mark joined Computershare in 2004, after 27 years with the Bank of England. He played a significant role in the seamless migration of the Gilts register from the Bank of England to Computershare. Whilst continuing to be responsible for the day-to-day Gilts operation, he has also taken ownership of, and continued to grow, Computershare’s Structured Products business for the last 9 years. In 2014, Mark was part of the successful bid team that saw Computershare re-appointed by the HM Treasury as the Gilt Registrar, for a further 10 years. He has also taken ownership of Computershare’s Depositary Interest business.
