  • Mark Cleland

    Mark Cleland

    With 20 years’ experience in the industry, Mark joined Computershare in 2019. Mark is responsible for our Issuer Services business in the UK, South Africa and Ireland, comprising share registration, governance services and a range of Issuer Services offerings. Prior to joining Computershare, Mark held senior positions at PwC and EY, as well as board director at Capita Asset Services.
  • Michael Sansom

    Head of UK Registry

    Michael Sansom

    Michael has worked in Computershare’s UK registry business for more than 20 years, directly managing or overseeing teams of staff responsible for the provision of high-quality services to issuers, from non-listed companies to FTSE100s with complex service requirements. He has an excellent understanding of Computershare’s business and capabilities and is experienced at working with customers to develop and implement long-term shareholder strategies utilising market and customer insight. Michael is a qualified Company Secretary and leads the efforts of the UK business to monitor and influence local market and EU legislative developments that may impact issuers, their shareholders or our services. He represents Computershare on a number of external bodies and industry working groups. He is the current chairman of the UK Chartered Governance Institute Registrars Group and a long-standing member of the Institute’s Company Secretaries Forum and International Working Group.
  • Sophie de Freitas FCIS

    Sophie de Freitas FCIS

    Sophie is a Fellow of CGI with over 20 years’ experience in financial services and a Jersey based board member.  Sophie has extensive experience in working with clients seeking an IPO and working with companies listed on the London Stock Exchange and other regulated global stock exchanges with overall responsibility for over 200 client relationships.

    Cecilia Williams

    Cecilia has over 25 years' experience in the financial services sector and leads Computershare’s Issuer Services new business activity in the UK. She has provided senior oversight to over 100 IPOs in the last 5 years in London and international markets.     Managing Director, UK Governance Services at Computershare

    Maddie Scrafton

    Maddie has a wealth of experience advising on and delivering practical corporate governance solutions. Previous roles include Head of Governance for the Board of HSBC Holdings plc, Company Secretary for an AIM listed group and Senior Manager within EY's Entity Compliance and Governance team. She leads Computershare's UK Governance Services team which provides governance and company secretarial support to UK companies and those listed on the London Stock Exchange.     Matt Brimble

    Matt has overall responsibility for the client management team and delivery of services to his client portfolio, as well as engagement and interaction with the wider industry. With over 16 years’ experience in client management, Matt has been key to ensuring both consistency across core service and the development and delivery of innovative solutions aligned to key client objectives. He also holds the Certificate in Company Secretarial Practice and Share Registration (ICSA qualification).

    Katrina has over 25 years’ experience in share registration, 19 years of these years within Client Management having most recently been a Senior Client Manager. She has managed a wide variety of clients throughout this time and most recently has been responsible for a small group of our high-profile clients.

    Tim Anderson-Edward

    Tim has been working within governance for nearly twenty years, helping clients to understand and improve how well their governance is working. Before joining Computershare, Tim spent 10 years at Independent Audit, one of the UK's leading board effectiveness reviewers. At Computershare, Tim is responsible for how we engage with our markets, bringing together company secretaries and others to learn about what really matters, and ensuring insights feed back into our business and shape our proposition.
