Kirsten van Rooijen
Kirsten joined the Computershare business in 2007 as an Account Manager at Georgeson in London. After relocating to the Netherlands, she led Georgeson’s Benelux team on numerous transactions, activist situations, and shareholder meetings for companies such as ASM International, ING Group, Philips, and Shell. She has had key involvement in a number of high-profile M&A transactions. In 2009, Kirsten took on the role of Managing Director Netherlands at Computershare, extending the local footprint and participating in various shareholder meetings, employee share plan roll-outs, and class action litigations. After her tenure in growing the Benelux business, Kirsten assumed responsibility for Computershare Shareholder Meetings globally within the company and was appointed the Head of Continental Europe, covering seven country organizations in 2022. Since the beginning of 2025, Kirsten has been leading the new Investor Engagement business in Computershare Issuer Services, integrating Georgeson with the recently acquired companies CMi2i and ingage.
