Pay transparency and fairness
Salary ranges at Computershare are established through a combination of internal and external market benchmarking data. They are designed to reflect the responsibilities and accountabilities of each role, as well as the skills and experience required to perform it successfully. These ranges are determined through robust internal and external benchmarking and an evaluation of the role itself. Personal characteristics, such as gender, are never considered in the determination of salary ranges.
Providing salary ranges, aligned with Pay Transparency principles, helps create a more open and consistent approach to pay. We will share these ranges with employees and candidates in all global locations where pay transparency requirements apply, supporting clarity on how pay decisions are made and how roles compare.
Where salary ranges are provided, these reflect the typical minimum to maximum range for the role. Where an individual is then placed within the range will depend on gender neutral criteria such as skills, experience, qualifications, geographical location and how individuals meet the requirements of the role.
Progression within the salary range may be reviewed as part of annual review cycles, where these apply, and is not guaranteed each year. Any progression will be influenced by factors such as performance, development, growth within the role, and any significant changes to responsibilities.
