​​Nicholas updated us on shareholder voting trends and his expectations for the 2017 AGM season and Shareholder Activism.

​​​Nigel spoke about the benefits of ​​​share ownership and presented research to show how companies use employee ownership to their advantage. He also updated us on the Irish ProShare Association’s new governance structure.​​​

 

Lee Murphy, Corporate Partner, Eversheds Sutherland

Lee gave us the latest insights on the Market Abuse Regulation (MAR) and explained to our clients how they would be affected. He also provided an overview of the Eclairs Group Ltd v JKX Oil & Gas plc decision in the UK Supreme Court relating to the exercise of directors’ powers.
