On Monday, 20 February 2017, South Africa's first new equities exchange in over 100 years, ZAR X entered the financial services market and settled its initial trade. Currently the companies listed on the exchange are Senwes, Senwesbel Limited and TWK Investments Limited with more listings expected soon. If you would like to purchase shares in these companies, you need to open a custody and settlement account with us, provide us with FICA verification documentation and your bank details. You will find the documents you need below and, in the additional documents section at the foot of this page, you will find Dividends Tax and FATCA/CRS forms.
Required documentation
Please read the terms and conditions of custody before completing the custody and settlement agreement. The required supporting documentation differs for private investors, companies and other legal entities. You will find the various requirements in the supporting documentation section below. Once you have read the terms and conditions and completed the Custody and Settlement Agreement, click submit. This will attach the agreement to an email - remember, before you send, to attach your FICA verification documentation.
