Nick Oldfield

Nick is CEO for our US Loan Services businesses, with overall responsibility for the management and delivery of the strategic and financial plan for Specialized Loan Servicing, Altavera Mortgage Services, Capital Markets Co-Operative and Property Solutions.

Alongside this, Nick is also CFO for the US; leading finance, accounting and other related services for Computershare in the region.

Nick spent six years with Arthur Anderson after graduating, and lived in both London and Melbourne for the company. He moved on to Rothschild in their Melbourne Venture Capital team before returning to the UK in 2003 and taking up a role as Director of Corporate Development for Computershare’s EMEA business, overseeing more than 20 acquisitions and investments in a variety of countries.

He became CFO, EMEA in 2007 and re-located to the USA in 2014.

Toby Wells

Toby is chief executive officer of Specialized Loan Servicing (SLS), and president of Computershare Loan Services, a business unit of Computershare Limited (ASX: CPU).

In his role at SLS, Toby oversees all operational and financial activities for the company, promoting strategic business opportunities and driving key growth initiatives. Toby was one of the original founders of SLS in 2003 and has previously served as president and chief financial officer of SLS. Toby has over 20 years of experience in mortgage banking and servicing, public accounting, strategic planning, portfolio management and valuation, investor reporting, and financial analysis. In addition to his financial expertise, Toby is recognized by associates for his leadership skills, his ability to facilitate change, and the development of people.

Tom Millon

Tom founded Capital Markets Cooperative (CMC) in 2003 and is considered one of the nation's top executives in the mortgage capital markets. Tom is a recognized author, frequent speaker, and expert in mortgage finance. He serves as President, Chief Executive Officer, and Chairman of CMC, and is the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of CMC’s lending subsidiary, CMC Funding, Inc.

Tom is a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association where he serves on the MBA’s committee for GSE reform. Tom is also on the advisory board of the Common Securitization Platform—a joint venture between Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, dedicated to standardizing the agency mortgage-backed security.

Tom holds the Chartered Financial Analyst and Certified Mortgage Banker designations. He is FINRA Series 3 licensed and is a member of the National Futures Association, the Association for Investment Management and Research, and the Security Analysts Society of San Francisco.

Jim Smith

Jim is President of Property Solutions, directing a dynamic national team of veteran industry experts in collateral valuation, title and asset management services. Under his leadership, the company offers investors and residential lenders comprehensive valuation products and services for both residential and commercial loans, with focus on meeting and exceeding the needs of customers. Jim is a Certified Mortgage Banker, the highest professional designation for the real estate finance industry.

Prior to joining Computershare, Jim held senior roles at Clear Capital and Urban Lending Solutions, as well as executive management positions at Fiserv Portfolio Services, Fidelity Hansen Quality, Old Kent Mortgage and Southern Pacific Funding Corporation.

Brian Simons

Brian founded Altavera in 2012 after building a career on the secondary and origination side of the mortgage business where he felt that lenders were underserved by the outsourcing options in a post-crisis world. By understanding that each client is unique, he built a firm that truly listens to and partners with its clients. Altavera has grown since its inception in 2012 purely through referrals from clients, and is now part of Computershare Limited (ASX:CPU).

Brian’s executive experience with firms such as Credit Suisse, JPMorgan and Urban Lending provide a valuable context to improve the industry and support clients in each phase of the mortgage loan life cycle.

Evan Thomas

Evan is chief information officer at Specialized Loan Servicing (SLS). He oversees the information technology team to ensure the company’s proprietary platforms and processes meet the evolving needs of clients. As part of the leadership team, Evan works closely with members of the executive committee on the planning and execution of key initiatives to support business objectives. He plays a critical role in providing technology solutions to ensure a high standard of excellence in client service, customer satisfaction and financial performance.

As a former senior manager within the global development group at Computershare, SLS’ parent company, Evan oversaw a wide range of teams working with a variety of technologies to deliver innovative solutions across multiple business lines. Evan’s background in information technology and financial services has allowed him to play an integral role in both technical and managerial capacities for several of Computershare’s strategic acquisitions around the globe.
