We were founded in 1978 (in Melbourne) and have been listed on the Australian Securities Exchange since 1994. We came to the UK in 1995, and our regional HQ is in Bristol.​​

We now employ over 14,000 people across 90 offices around the wo​​​​rld. We provide services in 21 countries to more than 40,000 clients and their 75 million customers.

In 2006 we launched our Change A Life initiative which funds projects that address poverty and empower communities. Change A Life unites our global Computershare community and we’ve raised over £250,000 in the last year alone to support these projects around the world.
