AGL is one of Australia's leading renewable energy companies and is Australia's largest private owner, operator and developer of renewable generation assets. AGL is an S&P/ASX 50 company, operating in Australia for 175 years.



AGL sought a flexible and reliable partner to rapidly take on their price changes project communications since AGL's previous provider was no longer able to provide these services. The introduction of the carbon tax meant AGL was required to mail to all their customers, double the usual scope. AGL needed a partner to help deliver this project in a short timeframe. Meeting the deadlines was critical as every day missed could lead to a loss of revenue for AGL.



Computershare delivered a national solution to meet AGL's requirements in a much shorter timeframe than would typically apply. Our national project team, located in four Australian sites, executed the solution to produce 2 million packs across 11 mailings, all completed within a three month period.

To ensure seamless engagement with AGL, Computershare's account management model was structured as one account team, supported by national project and operational teams. This model allowed AGL to have streamlined communication and the speed of execution through multisite production.

Computershare's global production management platform allows multisite production to be simply activated when required. The platform along with our national quality processes ensures consistency in output and flexibility to change production locations without compromising quality.

Computershare is now managing AGL's price changes project communications on an ongoing basis.
