1. How do I buy/sell shares?

 
Computershare shares are listed on the Australian Stock Exchange, under the stock code 'CPU'. You can purchase shares through a registered stockbroker. The Australian Stock Exchange offer a stockbroker referral service and can be contacted at http://www.asx.com.au
 
If you would like to sell shares you already hold and they are not held though a stockbroker, you can sell them with low commission fees and no broker via eTrade.
 
 

2. Do I need to advise the share registry if I have changed my name or address?

 
Yes. If you have changed name or address you need to contact the share registry, advising any changes to your registered details (that is, you didn’t buy them through a broker) you can change your details online through Investor Centre.
 
At this time, it is not possible to make changes to your name online. Name changes need to be made in writing, using a form. If your name has changed you should enclose a copy of your marriage certificate in the case of marriage, or a copy of the legal documentation confirming name change in other cases.
 
 

3. When is the dividend paid?

 
The latest dividend payment and upcoming dividend dates are available in the dividend section.
 
 

4. Can I submit my TFN online?

 
A TFN or ABN can be submitted and updated online through Investor Centre. It's quick and easy and you don't need to become a member.
 
 

5. Do I need to keep my shareholding statements?

 
You should keep your shareholding statements for tax purposes.
 
 

6. Can I change my CHESS registration details through you?

 
No. You will need to do this through the stockbroker with whom you hold shares.
 
 

7. How can I confirm the number of shares that I hold?

 
You can view and manage just one holding or your entire portfolio through Investor Centre.
 
 

8. How do I check my holdings?

 
As an investor, you can access relevant information about your Computershare holdings through the Investor Centre. You do not need to register unless you want to view and manage your entire portfolio. Investor Centre is quick, easy and free.
 
 

9. Can you send me a history of my holdings?

 
Yes. You are able to obtain a copy of the history of your holdings. Your request must be in writing and should be forwarded by mail to:

10. Should I attend the AGM?

 
The Annual General Meeting (AGM) provides an opportunity for shareholders to become directly involved in Computershare's decisions. During the AGM, you are asked to vote on important issues and you are given the opportunity to put questions to the members of the Board.
 
The management of Computershare encourages all shareholders to attend the AGM.
 
 

11. Is my vote lost if I cannot attend the AGM?

 
No. Several weeks prior to the meeting you will be sent a form, called a proxy form, which allows you submit your vote via the post or alternatively online. If you are not attending the AGM you will be asked to complete the proxy form by a specified date before the AGM.
 
Alternatively you can appoint another party, your proxy, to attend the AGM on your behalf. Your proxy can vote at the meeting but cannot ask questions unless allowed by the Chairman.
